Ted Givens has been an award winning lead designer on projects ranging from exclusive resorts to large corporate headquarters. Hehas an ability to transform strategic thinking into inspirational structures, bridging all constituents under the roof of a single purpose. Research, design innovation, and collaboration are key drivers behind Ted's work. Recent explorations include a building skin that purifies the air, a collapsible/tornado proof suburb, and a sustainable homeless community. Givens currently has eight projects finishing construction around the world, has received more than 15 AIA Awards across mostsectors and has recently won 7 out of 8 international design competitions in China.
Ted is currently working on a 1000 room resort hotel in southern China, a 5km long beach resort, and a high-rise hotel/ convention center. Ted’s work and writings on innovativeand sustainable building technology have been published in major publications including the Boston Globe, NY Times Blog,Philippine Enquirer, and EVOLO Magazine.
