H&M to open in Setia City Mall

PETALING JAYA (Aug 3): Swedish fashion giant H&M is set to open at Setia City Mall in Shah Alam in the last quarter of the year, making it the second H&M store in Malaysia. Spanning a total of 17,000 sq ft of retail space, the store will be situated on the Upper Ground floor of the mall and promises to offer H&M's full range of products.

Setia City Mall leasing director Mitchell Wilson said: "We look forward to being part of H&M's growth story in the region. This addition to our retail mix also ensures we cement our positioning and are able to achieve our vision of becoming the destination of choice for shopping, dining, entertainment and parklife."

"Setia City Mall offers an exceptional range of both local and international fashion brands. With the addition of H&M to the line up, our shoppers can enjoy the array of visually stimulating experiences that their modern designs and concept provides," Setia City Mall general manager Philippa Holmes said.

H&M joins the list of an impressive line up of tenants such as Parkson, Golden Screen Cinemas, Fitness First, MPH, Harvey Norman, Urbanfresh, Courts, Daiso, Wangsa Bowl, UNIQLO and Zara.

Setia City Mall is located in the heart of S P Setia Bhd's 4,000 acre Setia Alam township in Shah Alam. Officially opened on June 23, the mall has approximately 740,000 sq ft of net lettable area across four levels.It is located off the NKVE, and provides over 2,500 convenient shopper car parks.

The mall is designed by Lend Lease in conjunction with Archicentre. It is marketed and managed by Greenhill Resources Sdn Bhd, which is a joint venture between Malaysian property developer S P Setia and the Asian Retail Investment Fund (ARIF) (which is also managed by Lend Lease).

H&M, which opened its first store in Sweden in 1947, operates in 40 markets and has over 2,500 stores worldwide catering to a broad and diverse range of fashion for men, women, youth and children. The brand also sells cosmetics, accessories and home textile products.
